There are no reserved seats, no donations, and no shortcuts.
Aga Khan University Hospital, a 560-bed tertiary care teaching hospital located on the AKU campus in Karachi, is one of the largest and most advanced hospitals in Pakistan. It serves as the primary clinical training ground for MBBS students, offering hands-on experience with real patient care from early in the programme.

AKU CGPA to Percentage Conversion
Many scholarship bodies, regulatory authorities, and international institutions ask for a percentage figure rather than a CGPA. The standard AKU percentage conversion method follows HEC Pakistan’s accepted approach:
Percentage ≈ CGPA × 25
Example: A CGPA of 3.6 at AKU Medical College → 3.6 × 25 = 90%
This estimate is widely used across Pakistan’s medical education sector. However, for official documents residency applications, foreign licensing, or postgraduate admissions always use your certified transcript issued directly by Aga Khan University Hospital’s affiliated academic office or the AKU Registrar.
